I am a licensed psychologist and have worked in Wright and Sherburne counties since 1988.  For many years I provided therapy in community mental health settings and have been in private practice in Monticello, MN since 2003.


I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, MN and my Masters degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. My husband and I have been married since 1988 and have two adult children. In my free time I enjoy reading, running, playing violin and spending time with family and friends.

I believe building a therapeutic relationship is an important first step in the counseling process followed by partnering with you in a sensitive, respectful, practical, and non-judgmental way.  This will provide a caring, safe and private environment in which to make positive changes in your journey of healing.

My therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioral and family systems.  Additionally, I also specialize in EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
